This Rossouw's Restaurants website complements the printed Rossouw's Restaurants guide.

For both the printed guide and all critics' reviews on this site, the principle is: reviews are conducted anonymously; and all meals are paid for. All web updates are written by the editor, JPR, unless otherwise noted. Naturally, you may not agree with all the views. You are welcome to send your own written reviews by selecting a Restaurant and then clicking Add A Review.

"Who is Jean-Pierre Rossouw?"

The editor, Jean-Pierre Rossouw, has been a restaurant reviewer for The Mail & Guardian as well as Food and Wine Editor for Condé Nast House & Garden and wine columnist for the Cape Times and Best Life magazine.  

Since starting Rossouw's Restaurants in 2004, it has grown to become a top ten best-seller at leading bookstores and is now the leading independent restaurant guide.
