The guide aims to be as comprehensive and accurate as possible. However, restaurants are a moving target, and opening times change, menus change, sometimes the whole establishment changes – or disappears. Who is?
The editor, Jean-Pierre Rossouw, has been a restaurant reviewer for The Mail & Guardian as well as Food and Wine Editor for Condé Nast House and Garden. He is also the wine writer for the Cape Times, Best Life and restaurant reviewer for Wine magazine. Since starting Rossouw’s Restaurants in 2004, it has grown to become a top ten best-seller at leading bookstores like Exclusive Books and Wordsworths and is now the leading independent restaurant guide.
