Grillhouse, The Firs, Rosebank
Which is Jozi’s best steakhouse? I find the quality of steak to be pretty good up north – and a revisit to Grillhouse for Friday lunch was a sure-fire hit. Beautiful piece of rump, perfectly cooked, flavoursome, with ace fries. Decent price too – R88 for 300g. The place is also pleasantly collegial, cocooning in its penumbral, nostalgic NY light. Still need to check out the Sandton branch.
