Harbour Rock redux
A return to this Hermanus seaside spot was far less successful than the last. I had received some conflicting reports after I posted positively, and yesterday’s visit proved, once more, how fickle our restaurants can be on the consistency front. They do well on anything tempura battered, and their sushi is fine, but the mains are hit and miss, and anything off the seafood tip is usually a miss. Mine was ribs. The only hit was the portion size, some prehistoric porker this.
Apologies for my paucity of posts, been working at getting the 2009 book edition off to the printers – it includes Johannesburg and Pretoria this year, and is in a new hardcover format, so hope you all like it. On shelves in early October.
