One here, one in Camps Bay. They’re similar in their “shabby-chic” house-as-hacienda with lots of OTT bits look, but I prefer this Plett one, which was the original when the Behr’s owned it. It’s just older and better able to carry the ambience of a Cuban daydream. Camps bay is right on the sea, here the patio high on the hill with its sea and lagoon views feels more appropriate, and the service is warm and homely. The menu is also homely, comfort food without the crayfish and caviar pretence of Camps bay. My cob was beautifully cooked, my wine cold, the bill (good portion of fish and chips R95) highish but reasonable.
