Last Saturday was HOT in Wellington, but we discovered a cool haven in Dunstone cellars (try their Dunstone Rose 2011)where the tables of The Stone Kitchen, presided over by Chef Johan Van Schalkwyk - ex-Uitsig River Cafe - are alongside the wine presses! The menu has both substantial & lighter options, and all those chosen by our group were delicious, accompanied by Dunstone's acclaimed Shiraz. They also offer "do-it-yourself" meals, where guests work in the kitchen alongside Johan & prepare their own meal.
