Branch: Franschhoek | We had lunch with our family at Allora in Franschhoek. A brilliant place for families with kids, but I'm sure the ambiance is really nice at night as well. We loved the food, and the prices were very realistic. The staff were warm and friendly.

The fillet topped with muscarpone and rocket melted in my mouth, and I tasted the venison special which was also very good. The veggies were crunchy with a faint taste of sweet ginger.The home-made pasta sounds like it is worth trying next time, but I was happy with my selection.

There is a kiddies menu and play area in the beautiful garden which kept the kids happy.

We will definitely be back.

Great Italian/Mediterranean food. Feels like you are in Europe. Excellently priced. Warm, friendly service and a strong owner presence. By far our best in the Winelands.
